Your America is Showing
I’m going to keep this brief. Although Nontxt is not a political newsletter, my art and creative practice is rooted in the experience of being Black in America. That perspective is what shapes my worldview and it’s not a secret that I am disappointed, but not the least bit surprised, at the results of the election.
At the end of the day it is what it is, the only way forward is to acknowledge that reality and continue to build. There was always work to be done and it will continue, just keep your head up and keep grinding through the darkness to come.

Thanks for your positive words, Kwasi. As a white person outside the US, I am struggling with what has happened and how to respond wisely to it without adding to the division. I can't imagine how it is for someone who is black and within that system. Love and solidarity to you.
